Importance of Goal Setting

The Department of Psychology had organized a interactive session with activity on "Importance of Goal Setting" on 11 th  July 2018. The aim of this session was to make students understand how setting of Goal is important in life to enhance performance and to get motivated to achieve the goals. The session began with the management game to make them realize how they perform without goal setting and how they enhanced in performance after goal setting. The session was taken by Dr. Swaleha Pathan, Head, Department of Psychology. She explained types of goals, steps in achieving the goals, how to over come the obstacles, coping up with stress in achieving goals etc.  In all 47+ students participated in this session.
